Jean Palacios, RN
Jean is the Lead Nurse Injector and CEO/Founder of Artisan Aesthetics.
With over a decade of experience in the cosmetics industry, she honed her skills and developed her passion for medical aesthetics while working at one of the busiest laser clinics in Downtown Toronto before starting Artisan Aesthetics. Jean, together with Jonathan, travels all over the world to train and learn from Industry leaders to bring back to Artisan Academy.
A specialist in the field of injectables, she believes that your skillset is not the only determinant to ensure your success in this industry. Armed with business acumen and the right resources - learning to run a business is paramount to your success!
Jonathan Palacios, RN
Jonathan is a Senior Nurse Injector and CFO/co-owner of Artisan Aesthetics. With 12 years of experience working in Ophthalmology, Gerontology and Surgical Care, he’s passionate about give his patients high-quality care.
In addition to Artisan Aesthetics, he has been an Operating Room Nurse for the past 3 years at Lakeridge Health and has had the opportunity to assist with both major and minor surgeries.
An expert at what he does, he currently specializes in the Full Face restoration with Injectables and Energy-based devices such as Morpheus8.

Day 1: Precision Tox - Neuromodulator Foundations
Objective: Master the art of toxin injections (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) with confidence, understanding facial anatomy, muscle mapping, and appropriate dosing for natural-looking results.
Key Topics:
Facial Anatomy in Motion: Deep dive into the muscles and structures of the face, their role in facial expressions, and how neuromodulators interact with them.
Toxin Mechanics: Understand the science behind botulinum toxin, its effects on muscle function, and how to tailor treatments for specific facial zones.
Dosing & Injection Technique: Learn to select the right toxin and proper dosing for areas like the glabella, forehead, crow's feet, and masseter (for TMJ)
Safety & Complications Protocols: Recognize potential risks and complications, with step-by-step guidelines for addressing them.

Day 2: Structure & Softness - Dermal Filler Foundations
Objective: Develop foundational skills for facial volumization and contouring using dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Teosyal, etc.), focusing on facial aesthetics, symmetry, and patient-specific results.

Anatomy of Aging: Understand how facial features change with age and how to counteract volume loss, restore youthful contours, and enhance natural beauty.
Filler Rheology & Product Selection: Learn the different types of fillers available, from hyaluronic acid to collagen-stimulating agents, and understand how to choose the right product for specific facial regions.Injection
