This is not the Nursing you envisioned and you were once passionate about. And so you finally decided to switch careers, venture into what's out there and invested in a weekend course to learn the basics of neuromodulators and dermal fillers. We've all been there - confused, scared and anxious as to the next steps to take. Circa to 2017, there weren't much resources available to new Nurse Injectors and so I have to figure it all out myself and hope for the best. And recognizing this need to bridge the gap from learning how to inject INTO running a successful practice, Artisan Academy was founded.
The Academy will provide new and advanced Nurse Injectors with a platform to elevate their careers and build successful and profitable businesses.

Meet Our Faculty
Jean Palacios, RN
Jean is the Head Cosmetic Nurse Injector and co-owner of Artisan Aesthetics.
With 8 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, she honed her skills and developed her passion for medical aesthetics while working at one of the busiest laser clinics in Downtown Toronto before starting Artisan Aesthetics.
A specialist in the field of injectables, she believes that enhancing your natural beauty is all you really need to do. By focusing on refinement and restoration, she is able to provide her clients with the most natural-looking results.
Jonathan Palacios, RN
Jonathan is a Registered Nurse and co-owner of Artisan Aesthetics. With 12 years of experience working in Ophthalmology, Gerontology and Surgical Care, he’s passionate about give his patients high-quality care.
In addition to Artisan Aesthetics, he has been an Operating Room Nurse for the past 3 years at Lakeridge Health and has had the opportunity to assist with both major and minor surgeries.
An expert at what he does, he currently specializes in the Russian Lip Technique, Non-Surgical Facelift with Threads as well as Botox for medical issues such as Hyperhydrosis and TMJ.
Shielah Gomez, RN
Shielah is a Registered Practical Nurse with 8 years of experience in the cosmetic industry.
With a background in Operating Room and Surgical Suite procedures, she brings her expertise to our PRP for hair restoration, facial rejuvenation and botox for TMJ or hyperhidrosis services.
Kristine Romero, RPN
Kristine is a Registered Practical Nurse with 7 years of experience in cosmetic medicine and aesthetics.
Having trained in both the operating room and in a busy downtown Toronto medical aesthetics clinic, she brings extensive technical skill to her work.

Injector Starter
This 1:1 mentorship training is designed for the brand new injector with 0-12 months experience. This opportunity will focus on hands-on basic techniques with neuromodulators (upper and lower face) and dermal fillers (lips, cheeks, chin).

This 1:1 mentorship training is designed for the brand new injector that wishes to explore and solidify knowledge in laser and energy- based devices . This opportunity will focus on didactics and hands-on application of treatments such as Radiofrequency Microneedling, RF Facials, Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Hair Removal.
Course duration: 4 hours

Injector Premium
This 1:1 mentorship training is designed for the Injector with has at least 1-2 years experience. This opportunity will focus on hands-on advanced techniques with neuromodulators (upper and lower face, therapeutic indications, microbotox) and dermal fillers (lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, tear troughs, temples).
Course duration: 4 hours

This learning opportunity is designed for the business-savvy Injector that is ready to take her career on a next level. Shorten the learning curve in years by learning from the CEO herself, Jean Palacios, RN and learn how she built her 7-figure business in 3 years!
Must be injecting for at least 2 years and is looking to expand and grow his/her business. This opportunity will focus on:
- Provider vs Ceo mindset

Course duration: 5 hours
